The festive season is a time for joy, laughter and being together and thanks to a grant from The Tudwick Foundation and plenty of support from local businesses and voluntary organisations, 58 children and their families experienced an afternoon to remember in Jaywick.
For 16 years, Jaywick Community Resource Centre has brought the magic of Christmas pantomime to local children who might otherwise not have the opportunity to attend. Making this dream a reality requires lots of hard work from local people but also funding to pay for the performance. That's where the Tudwick Foundation stepped in to help.
A dedicated grant for £1,000 from the foundation covered the essential costs of the 2024 pantomime so that the community could focus on what truly matters – creating a fun a festive event for children and families to enjoy. After the performance every child received a present from Santa and the event is a heart-warming reminder of the power of community spirit.
A huge thank you to Jaywick Community Resource Centre for their dedication and hard work in organising this event and to everyone involved in making this pantomime a success.
